Ex-matric pupils on an independent living ‘exit programme’

We have had children leave our care at the age of 18 or after grade 12. According to the policies of social development; they must exist the system. There have been some challenges with these children in the past, as one would understand, there are not many options for these youngsters without further education and in some cases no place to stay, leaving them with little or no prospect of making a meaningful contribution to society.

In order to assist these children to get a better start in life, we have taken it upon ourselves to provide a home for these children, while they enjoy tertiary education and life skills to make a success of their chosen paths. We envisage this to be a 3 to 5 year programme depending on the education process by the different individuals. Starting this project with 3 enthusiastic boys, a passionate qualified care-giver and the determination to make a success, we embark on this journey.
