Children need more than shelter. Our six programmes support safe living, emotional wellbeing, education, healthy relationships and the skills to build a future.
Care programmeResidential care
Safe homes and consistent care.
Medium- to long-term care provides a loving environment for children who need alternative care. Small family-style houses bring children and a caregiver together. Education, health, play and daily routines support each child’s development.
Care programmeTherapeutic support
A space to be heard and supported.
Resident social workers provide individual, group and family counselling, assessment, emotional support, parental guidance and relationship counselling tailored to children and their families.
Care programmeDevelopment & life skills
Building confidence through everyday skills.
Children develop practical and social skills through education, health awareness, career guidance, peer education and constructive behaviour support. Caregiver training supports consistent, informed care.
Care programmeRecreation & play
Room to relax, play and explore.
Safe recreation, sports, play, outings and excursions help children enjoy childhood and support physical, emotional and social development.
Care programmeFamily connections
Working towards stronger family relationships.
The team works towards family reconstruction and reunification where appropriate, maintaining family contact and exploring suitable alternatives when reunification is not possible.
Care programmeIndependent living
Support beyond school.
Young people who cannot return to family or be placed elsewhere are supported towards independence through life skills, tertiary education and training. The aim is to help them leave care with the skills and qualifications for a sustainable future.
